Earlier this week saw us travel up to Lincoln to the Norton Disney complex for a 24 hour tuition with Rob Burgess, being part of our prize for winning one of the monthly Korda winter hero competitions over the winter period. We had a great session with Rob learning a few new things to add to our armoury and whilst we were there it would have been rude not to get the rods out.

We fished Holdens Lake, an 11 acre gravel pit and it wasn’t too long before I saw some fish show in my area so I was quick to cast my roving rod to a showing fish and managed to bag this stunning mirror being my first and largest of 4 from the session.
