My Name is Nick, I live in the far western part of central Germany and work as a mechanical engineer. In my spare time I am hunting carps in every water from the small river up to big and open waters but mainly gravel pits. Accomplish challenges is my motivation – explore the new and catch unknown fish is my passion.  

I have been attracted to waters since I could walk. There is a small and shallow river next to my parents’ house and I literally grew up by catching small fish and animals. I got my first fishing rod when I was 9 years old. Since then, I have been addicted to fishing and it has become an important part of my life. In 2010, I started to specialise in carp fishing.  Before that I mainly did match fishing. 

I am a tackle enthusiast. Besides style and functionality, my tackle must be reliable. That’s why WOLF products accompany me when I’m angling. Two other important aspects in my hobby are bait making as well as photography. Unique baits adapted to the situation and capturing the moment in pictures are high priorities.
