I was born on March 17, 1990 in Merseburg in beautiful Saxony-Anhalt (Germany) and have lived there ever since. My friends call me Kochi by nickname.
How did I get fishing? My father took me to the water at a very young age and taught me the first techniques and tricks. So I was able to catch the first small fish at school age. However, at a young age, my interest went somewhere else, which I still regret very much, because fishing is one of the most beautiful things in life. In the early 20s, I felt more dedicated to fishing again. I began to get my fishing license and specialise in carp fishing. One of the best decisions in my life.
In my region where I live, there are some gravel pits and open pit lakes that I fish for. They have a very special charm and are very diverse. I can mainly be found in the smaller waters because I prefer throwing. I can make the most of my X-Spod’s from Wolf.
From year to year, my trips abroad also increased more and more in order to catch carp and gain new experiences there as well.
